Fostering an environment that nurtures and facilitates care* holds significant value within my practice. Equally vital is the ability to address instances of neglect where such nurturing falters, manifested through the act of repair. In this specific case, the fractured butterfly sculpture Oxalis the Butterfly was tended with washi paper, repurposed silk, and neutral PVA adhesive.
